BRUSH up on your artistic skills during a seven-day painting holiday here at Adventure Velez.

The relaxed pace of life, the varied landscape, history, culture, architecture and flora and fauna, make the Los Velez valley a perfect destination for beginners and more experienced artists alike.

Our accomplished artist and tutor, Mary Eames, can help you capture on canvas the timeless charms of what the area has to offer.

Situated on the borders of Andalucia and Murcia, Mary’s studio is located in a majestic  mountainous area with breathtaking scenery.

The mountains and country to the coast of the Mediterranean are reflected in many of Mary’s paintings.

“I paint figuratively, looking at nature, people and landscapes, which reflect and capture atmospheric  emotion,” said Mary.

She has exhibited at numerous exhibitions and galleries in the UK, and here in Spain, is a member of Projecto del Grupo Gabar Asociacion Artistica.

Guests can be taught in different media, including watercolour, pastel, acrylic, oils, mixed media and drawing.

The daily workshops, as well as tuition, give you an opportunity for lunch and a swim with like-minded enthusiasts.
